He doesn't seem all that skinny to me ... 170, right? I wish I could weigh that much!
scorpionturtlescorpionturtle on June 24th, 2009 09:47 am (UTC)
the only thing uglier to me than unhealthy uber skinny girls is guys who are doing the same unhealthy behavior and have ultra skinny bodies. Really sad and no decent nutritionist would ever suggest eating less meals. The easiest way to lose weight in a healthy way is to eat lots of small meals of healthy food high in fiber and nutrients to increase your metabolism and body functions.

Being 170 and as tall as he is so unhealthy.

no, it actually isn't. 6'1" and 170 gives him a bmi of 22.4, which is definitely normal.
scorpionturtlescorpionturtle on June 24th, 2009 06:31 pm (UTC)
A BMI of 22.4. you have measured this how? by the math formula used by the gyms? Any actual trainer or nutritionist can tell you can find out a person BMI without actually finding out by doing a water density or better yet a body mass scan. Ugh guys with eating disorders and fucked body issues are so not attractive.
-lamesaucepan on June 24th, 2009 08:56 pm (UTC)
by the formula used by clinicians, insurance companies, and WHO? the bmi's primary problem is muscle pushing healthy people into obese categories. all he did was probably lose some muscle mass, but so what?

and why do you think he has some eating disorder? it's not like he wants to lose weight because he thinks he's fat. there's no distorted self-perception or denial about being below his natural weight; he's completely aware of it.

I'm 6'3" and 140. I don't diet, I eat everything in sight, and I'm not unhealthy in the least. Sorry you find me so hideous.

WOW, 6'3? 140? That's awesome, and inspiring :)

6'3" and 140 is normal. People need to get the fuck over skinny guys.

6'1" and 170 sounds pretty beefy to me. I think that model could have lost 10 pounds and looked even better in a suit. Thin guys make clothing look better. Muscular guys make nudity look better.
I got every reason to feel like I'm that bitchgossipguyxoxo on June 24th, 2009 07:46 pm (UTC)
well at least he admit that he diets, unlike all the other models--male and female alike--who claim that they dont "work" for their figure. and i dont understand this fascination about eating; if you dont feel hungry, then dont eat; if you do, then eat.

BMI aren't that accurate. Some people have high metabolisms. Some are unlucky.
